Intelligent EBSD (Electron Backscatter Diffraction)

EBSD (Electron backscatter diffraction) is a method used to obtain information from crystalline samples with the scanning electron microscope.

We recently installed AZtec® AZtecHKL EBSD software on the ThermoFisher scanning electron microscope in our JH Analytical Lab.

EBSD Overview

AZtecHKL EBSD combines the speed and sensitivity of the Nordlys EBSD detectors with the superior analytical performance of AZtec® software to create a powerful and versatile tool for Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Transmission Kikuchi Diffraction (TKD) analysis.
