Fluorescence lighting is used to identifying organic materials and determining if they should be there or not. In the electronics and medical devices industries adhesives are used as part of the manufacturing process. Many of these adhesives fluoresce under UV or Blue light allowing the inspector to see where the adhesive has flowed and if the flow is adequate or not.
