This session goes beyond traditional roughness measurements to explore how microscopic surface geometries influence critical functional properties such as durability, friction, sealing, adhesion, and resistance to cracking. Attendees will gain practical insight into advanced 3D surface measurement and texture analysis, supported by real-world case studies that connect data to performance outcomes.

The workshop features a presentation by industry expert Mark Malburg, along with live demonstrations, an exclusive ATC facility tour, and opportunities for networking. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own parts for onsite measurement and evaluation by local experts.
